The Precima FDB 13 is a compact and durable spring-applied brake delivering 20 Nm of holding torque at 48 VDC through a single-disc design mounted on a Ø20 H7 hub. Its IP54/55-rated housing with sealing cap offers robust protection against dust and water spray, ensuring dependable operation in industrial, automation, and light outdoor environments.

With a factory-fixed air gap, installation is simplified and adjustment-free. As a fail-safe brake, it engages upon power loss (spring-driven) and only releases when voltage is applied—making it ideal for emergency stops and secure holding.

Without power, the brake firmly holds; when energized, it disengages cleanly—supporting smooth operation in conveyors, pick-and-place systems, assembly equipment, and more.

Available options include manual release, flange mounting, wear indicators, temperature monitoring, and low-noise or corrosion-resistant variants—making the FDB 13 highly adaptable to specific application needs.
