The Stieber CSK 40mm P-2RS is a sealed freewheel integrated into a deep groove ball bearing, designed for Ø40 mm shafts. This unit delivers a maximum torque of 325 Nm and drag torque of 10 Nm under overrunning conditions.

It features a keyway in the inner race for torque transfer to a shaft with n6 fit, and a press-fit outer race suitable for housings with N6 tolerance. The P-2RS version is 5 mm wider than standard CSK types and includes lip seals that provide splash protection — ideal for humid or dusty installations.

The unit incorporates formchromed sprags, significantly extending operating life under overrunning duty. A C5 radial clearance is maintained to compensate for press-fit deformation. The freewheel is grease-lubricated from factory, and supports oil lubrication when needed.

Operating temperature range: +5°C to +60°C. For environments exceeding 50°C, the use of Nylos seals is recommended.
