The Stieber CSK 40mm P is a self-contained freewheel unit built into a 62-series deep groove ball bearing, enabling radial load support and unidirectional torque transmission in a compact design. Optimized for Ø40 mm shafts, it delivers a maximum torque of 325 Nm with a drag torque of 7 Nm under overrunning conditions.

This P-type features a keyway on the inner race, suitable for shafts with k6 tolerance, while the outer race is designed for press-fitting into a rigid housing machined to N6 tolerance. Internal ball bearing support eliminates the need for external bearings.

The unit is factory-filled with grease and shielded against particles larger than 0.3 mm. It is ideal for indexing, backstop, and overrunning operations in automated systems, conveyors, and general industrial drive assemblies.

Temperature range: +5°C to +60°C. Above 50°C, Stieber recommends using Nylos seals to ensure sealing integrity and prevent lubricant degradation.
