The Stieber CSK 40mm is a standard bearing-supported freewheel integrated into a 62-series deep groove ball bearing. Designed for shaft diameters of Ø40 mm, it provides a maximum clutch torque of 325 Nm and a drag torque of 7 Nm. It is intended for use in overrunning, indexing, or backstop applications where torque transmission occurs through press fits alone.

This variant features no keyways on either the inner or outer race. Torque is transmitted via interference fits only: the shaft must meet k6 tolerance, and the housing must meet N6 tolerance. The mounting must ensure structural rigidity to prevent loss of contact during operation.

It comes factory-filled with grease, protected against particles >0.3 mm, and supports optional oil bath lubrication. Formchromed sprags enhance service life and wear resistance.

Operating temperature range: +5°C to +60°C. For conditions exceeding 50°C, Nylos seals are recommended.
